Laurel E. Stadjuhar, P.E.
Principal - Water Resources Engineer

 

Laurel Stadjuhar has over twenty-five years engineering and project management experience including surface water and ground water hydrology and modeling, augmentation plan preparations, water rights evaluations, hydrological and watershed analyses, historical use investigations, long-range planning and reservoir optimization modeling, statistical analyses, hydraulic and structural analyses, model and database development and analysis, project management, and field investigations. Ms. Stadjuhar has served as an expert witness in water court proceedings as well as in hearings before the State Engineer and Division of Reclamation Mining and Safety. Ms. Stadjuhar is a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Colorado.

 

Ms. Stadjuhar has a B.S. degree in Engineering and a B.A. degree in Business Administration from Trinity University. Ms. Stadjuhar also received an M.S. degree in Water Resources and Environmental Engineering from the University of Colorado. Ms. Stadjuhar focused her graduate work on residential water uses and has experience in water efficiency and conservation evaluation.

 

Ms. Stadjuhar completed the Colorado Foundation for Water Education’s Water Leaders Program. Ms. Stadjuhar is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) and American Water Resources Association (AWRA). She served as chair of the ACEC Water Resources Technical Committee from 2012-2016. Ms. Stadjuhar served as Director of the National Board of Directors for AWRA from 2011-2013 and 2016-2018. Ms. Stadjuhar served as President of the Colorado Section of AWRA in 2007-2008.  Ms. Stadjuhar served on various committees and on the AWRA Colorado Board of Directors in various capacities since 2002. Ms. Stadjuhar has made technical presentations in front of various stakeholder groups, Basin Roundtable and Colorado Water Conservation Board meetings, the South Platte River Task Force and at National AWRA Conferences. Ms. Stadjuhar enjoys skiing, biking, photography, and hiking with her dog.
